
Shane P. Riley
Shane P. Riley, General Counsel at SURVICE Engineering Company, is a graduate of Goucher College with a major in Chemistry. He obtained his juris doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law.
Mr. Riley advises all business and functional units within SURVICE—including contracts, human resources, and SURVICE's regional operations—regarding contracts, employment benefits and law, leases, intellectual property, acquisitions, litigation, and claims. He also serves as the Business Conduct and Ethics Officer.
Prior to joining SURVICE, Mr. Riley worked as an analytical chemist for the US Government at the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center on Aberdeen Proving Ground. Upon joining SURVICE, Mr. Riley originally worked as an analyst, supporting the Army Evaluation Center with chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear decontamination and detection programs. After obtaining his law degree, Mr. Riley transitioned into the Corporate Office and the Law Department.
Mr. Riley is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Maryland State Bar Association.
