Scott E. Armistead

Scott Armistead is a DdDIAC senior staff engineer as well as the SURVICE Engineering Company's Technical Operations Lead for its Gulf Coast Operation. He has more than 30 years of munitions RDT&E experience and is currently responsible for modeling, simulation, and analysis and computer engineering support for various customers. He previously served as the Senior Test Manager and Program Engineer for the Joint Munitions T&E Program Office (JMTEPO), Senior Engineer for the JASSM and SDB Combined Test Flight, and the Technical Advisor for the 46th Test Wing EO/IR and MMW Systems Test Flight. He is experienced in infrared, visible, ultraviolet, millimeter-wave, seismic, magnetic, and acoustic sensors and weapons technologies; weapon systems effectiveness; countermeasures development; and platform susceptibility. Mr. Armistead holds a B.S. in nuclear engineering from the University of Florida.
