Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) and Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (ASD[R&E])

Conduct a variety of activities centered on collecting (including identification and access), analyzing, synthesizing/processing, and disseminating scientific and technical information related to weapon systems' survivability and vulnerability; reliability, maintainability, quality, supportability, and interoperability; military sensing; advanced materials; energetics; non-lethal weapons; directed energy weapons; autonomous weapon systems; and weapon systems. Specific services under this contract include engineering, analysis, software/database creation, and management and enterprise information technology support.
