SURVICE’s e-TTPG video team members from San Antonio recently filmed the technical demonstration for the Raging Parakeet Joint Capability, which took place from June 10-14 in Rome, Stockbridge, and Fort Drum, New York.
The Raging Parakeet capability is a new, cutting-edge technology used with an unmanned aircraft system. It utilizes advanced artificial intelligence and data fusion to automatically recognize targets and manage multiple sensors, streamlining the process of data analysis. Joe Fagan, deputy science advisor for the U.S. European Command, discussed the capabilities of the Raging Parakeet in the battlefield. “Raging Parakeet is designed to speed up the kill chain. What that means is, we try to find a target, assess the target, and prosecute that target,” said Fagan. “Right now, that process takes a bit of time. What Raging Parakeet is doing is shortening that process from days to hours, down to minutes to seconds.” Once all editing is completed, the video showcasing this new and exciting technology will be presented at the Technical Demonstration DV Day in mid September.
