On December 15, 2017, SURVICE Engineering was awarded a contract funded by the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) Test and Evaluation/Science & Technology (T&E/S&T) Program for the Modeling and Simulation of Aircraft Survivability (MSAS) to HEL Irradiation. The MSAS program will focus on the research and development of computer code modules capable of supporting the assessment of 3D damage resulting from the engagement of foreign-threat beams on Blue aircraft and weapon systems in support of multi-Service test and evaluation requirements. The effort will significantly leverage existing models and test data to the greatest extend possible as the end goal is to interface with developing HEL Platform level analysis models and tools such as the Effectiveness ToolBox and LaserFX. The anticipated period of performance is December 15, 2017 through June 14, 2022.
