Over the past few months, SURVICE had been hosting Project Opportunity, which is a free entrepreneurship training program designed solely for veterans, active duty, and reserve personnel who want to start their own business or expand their current small business.
On May 18, Project Opportunity had its local graduation ceremony. This was also a chance for the entrepreneurs to present their business cases to friends and family and representatives from the Harford County Office of Community and Economic Development, Harford County Chamber of Commerce, Harford County Commission on Veterans’ Affairs, and Susquehanna Workforce Network. SURVICE employees Mike Ray, Missy Gestido, and Trevor Russell attended to support the students and provide media assistance.
