SURVICE recently completed the Armored Commercial Passenger-Carrying Vehicles (ACPV) Handbook 2.0. In support of this project, SURVICE updated the first edition of the APV Handbook, which was developed back in 2009 for the Combatting Terrorism Technical Support Office Technical Support Working Group (CTTSO TWSG). This project mainly focused on updating the handbook, as changes have been made to vehicles, procurement procedures, maintenance, and other related APV information, rendering the previous handbook outdated.
The ACPV Handbook 2.0 will be available to purchase soon and is highly recommended for anyone looking to establish a broader understanding of ACPVs and their procurement, threat environment, design, and life-cycle management.
