The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Warren recently awarded SURVICE a 3-year, $9 million contract to provide survivability, lethality, vulnerability, effectiveness, and suitability expertise and engineering services to the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) and several customer elements of the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) at Warren, MI. These customers include the TARDEC Ground System Survivability (TARDEC-GSS); Joint Program Office (JPO) Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicles; and the Program Manager, Family of Special Operations Vehicles (PM FOSOV). Specific activities SURVICE will be involved in include the development of test and evaluation documentation, blast analysis, lethality strategies, assessment plans, detailed test plans, and training programs to support research and development, procurement, and sustainment efforts.
